The HS-D-20
The HS-D-20 is based on G.SHDSL technology. It converts analog signals from four customer circuits simultaneously to digital, then transmits the broad band digital signal composed by 64K digital signals within a single twisted pair. With 10 EU's in a Subrack, the system can access 200 customers.
One connector of EU is connected with Exchange terminals, while the other connects with the LINK & PF of system via the backplane. When customers are communicating, it achieves function of A/D converter, code/decode, and muldex/concentrator, and feeds power to RU by the DSL Link .
The RU is fixed and sealed in a plastic housing. It joints the customer terminals. The RU works to achieve the transmission of signal of customers on Link, after A/D converter, code/decode, and muldex/concentrator.
